Blazing New Trails as a VT Interpreter

This type of internship has never been done before. I am currently working with Vermont State Parks through a grant with a private family sponsor of SCA to reach out and teach environmental education within the local schools and communities! I have been serving in this position for just shy of a month and have really hit the ground running.

I am a gripper of the hoist. (My specialty skill is rigging (griphoist): setting up highlines and/or draglines using mechanical advantage to move heavy objects like boulders that would be otherwise too difficult to move. Our motto is "Slow and boring!" mostly because if we mess up, boulders can go crashing through the forest, wreaking havoc wherever they may!
